The Faculty of Psychology of the Moscow State University is currently conducting a research on adaptation to foreign cultures. In the course of the research we analyze factors, mechanisms and peculiarities of adaptation of foreign students. Obtained results will not only be of scientific value in terms of social psychology, but will also be of great practical importance: foreign students facing various difficulties can be effectively assisted in adapting to new cultural surroundings.

One of the factors of successful adaptation is intercultural competence. And we focus our research on it.
